Two unsearched 50-coin rolls of Gem Brilliant Uncirculated 2009 Lincoln Cents.
One roll is from the Denver (D) Mint and one roll is from the Philadelphia (P) Mint.
This is the second redesigned one-cent coin (penny) this year!
The "Formative Years" design depicts Lincoln's "growing up" years in Indiana, where he spent much of his time rail splitting and in study. Four new reverse designs will be issued in 2009 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of President Lincoln's birth and the 100th anniversary of the production of the Lincoln penny.
The obverse (heads) of the 2009 Lincoln penny bears sculptor Victor David Brenner's likeness of President Lincoln with Brenner's initials VDB, as it was introduced in 1909. (see far right photo)
